Cindy Karp Realty is pleased to announce that Shannon Martin has joined their growing staff of real estate professionals. Shannon is an active Realtor® member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors®.
Shannon began her real estate career in 2001 as a commercial property manager for a prestigious firm in Lansing, MI. During this time she researched and implement systems to better support the extensive portfolio of commercial real estate privately owned by the principals of the company, as well as provide a solid administrative foundation for properties brought in for management, as well as new acquisitions.
During her time with this company she obtained her Real Estate Salesperson license as well as continuing training through various specialized courses, such as: Advanced Concepts in Commercial Real Estate, Credit Reporting, Real Property Administration, Foreclosures/Short Sales, FHA/VA Financing & Appraisals, and Auctions.
Shannon and her husband, Mark, moved to Notheast Georgia in 2004 to open their first Pet Supplies "Plus" location at the corner of Alps Rd and Baxter St. in Athens. Her experience in commercial real estate sales and management helped her and her husband to expand their Pet Supplies "Plus" franchise organization. They now have five (5) locations ranging in size from 8,000 - 12,000 sf. Shannon's experience isn't limited only to commercial endeavors. She has extensive knowledge of residential sales and leasing as well.
Shannon is excited to join the Cindy Karp Realty team and says, "I do business in Athens and have forged strong relationships with my customers and neighbors.
